Textile design is concerned with understanding and creating one of the most intimate and yet
public aspects of the material world. Working through traditional and contemporary textile fabrication and decoration processes, the innovation of textile designers and artists
contributes to the richness and variety of visual cultures and individual modes of expression.

The objective of the Textile Designing is to introduce a broad range of textile processes and
theoretical perspectives on which to base the practice of Textile design.

Textile Designing can also be studied alongside other design majors such as fashion and interior or communication design.
